Unity Day

October is National Bullying Prevention Month and Unity Day is Wednesday, October 22. We are asking our AOE community to wear orange on Unity Day as a show of support that we at AOE are "united" in fostering a kind, inclusive, and bully-free school!

Restaurant Night

Reflections

The AOE PTA is excited to announce our participation in the annual National PTA Reflections Arts Program for 2025-2026! The theme for this year's submission is "I Belong”. Artists in TK-5th grade are encouraged to enter.

The deadline for submissions is Friday, October 24, 2025. We will accept submissions in all art categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, Visual Arts and Special Artists.

Sweet Swap

Donate your extra unopened Halloween candy to our troops! 

The PTA will have a collection box in the office starting Friday, October 31. As you come through for class parties, feel free to drop off your donations.

We’ll also be collecting candy in the Big-U during morning drop-off from Monday, November 3 through Thursday, November 6.

Additionally, donations can be dropped off at Hulse Orthodontics (6405 El Camino Real in Carlsbad) anytime between November 3 and November 6 — just be sure to mention it’s for AOE.

The school with the most donated pounds of candy will win awesome prizes from Hulse Orthodontics: $1000 for their school PTA, $500 for 2nd place, and $250 for third!

Support Our Troops

Calling all Veterans! Aviara Oaks Elementary School is proud to host our annual Veterans Day Breakfast on Friday, November 7, 2025.

If you have a Veteran in your family (or friend, neighbor), please help invite them to be our special guest. They will be treated to a breakfast hosted by the Girl & Boy Scout Troops of AOE from 7:50 am to 8:30 am in the Aviara Oaks Elementary School Auditorium, followed by an assembly honoring their service. Uniforms and Military attire would be greatly appreciated.

One World Fair

AOE is thrilled to host One World Fair on Thursday, December 11, 2025!

Our goal is to showcase as many cultures as possible so that every child and family can see themselves represented. Whether through food, music, art, dance, clothing, traditions, or stories, each contribution will help create a meaningful experience for our students.

We're seeking family volunteers to help make our upcoming Multicultural Fair a vibrant success by sharing your cultural traditions. You can support in the following ways:

• Host a booth to showcase your culture – sign up here.

• Lend a hand the day of the event – sign up here for a shift or two.

• Support behind the scenes by donating supplies.
