Donate your extra unopened Halloween candy to our troops! 

The PTA will be collecting candy in the Big-U during morning drop-off from Monday, November 3 through Thursday, November 6.

Additionally, donations can be dropped off at Hulse Orthodontics (6405 El Camino Real in Carlsbad) anytime between November 3 and November 6 — just be sure to mention it’s for AOE.

The school with the most donated pounds of candy will win awesome prizes from Hulse Orthodontics: $1000 for their school PTA, $500 for 2nd place, and $250 for third! 

Restaurant Night at Knockout Pizza

AOE is "dining for the dough!" Join us at Knockout Pizza all day on Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 11 am - 8 pm.

Make sure to show your flyer and mention AOE. 25% of proceeds go back to our school!

One World Fair

AOE is thrilled to host One World Fair on Thursday, December 11, 2025! The fair will run from 8:30–1:30, with the schedule organized by grade level.  

Our goal is to showcase as many cultures as possible so that every child and family can see themselves represented. Whether through food, music, art, dance, clothing, traditions, or stories, each contribution will help create a meaningful experience for our students.

We're seeking family volunteers to help make our upcoming Multicultural Fair a vibrant success by sharing your cultural traditions. You can support in the following ways:

• Host a booth to showcase your culture – sign up here. Deadline to sign up is Friday, November 14. Please note: Families with interest in the same country will be paired together. Countries represented so far include Brazil, China, Croatia, Egypt, France, Germany, India, Iran, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Pakistan, Peru, Puerto Rico, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, and Venezuela.

• Lend a hand the day of the event – sign up here for a shift or two.

• Support behind the scenes by donating supplies.
