Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week is Monday, May 4 - Friday, May 8! 

This special week is all about celebrating and recognizing our amazing teachers and staff—including specialty teachers, our librarian, admin team, and all supporting staff—through thoughtful gestures from their students. To help keep things fun and consistent across classrooms, we’ve created a themed template for the week’s activities.

We’re so excited to show our AOE teachers and staff just how much they’re appreciated!

Restaurant Night

Restaurant Night at Menchie's! Join us for our last Restaurant Night of the school year ALL DAY on Thursday, May 7 at Menchie's in Bressi Ranch.

Make sure to show your flyer and mention AOE--25% of proceeds are donated back to our school!

Parents Night Out

AOE Parents...grab your bell bottoms and flower crowns—it’s time to groove! 

Join us for a Woodstock-inspired adult gathering at Fox Point Farms on Friday, May 8, 2026 from 5:45–9:45 PM. Enjoy an evening of dinner, dancing, and live music from the late ’60s and early ’70s. Bohemian and hippie-inspired attire is highly encouraged, so come dressed in your grooviest look, bring your peace and love energy, and come ready to boogie with friends under the stars — it’s going to be outta sight! 

The adult night ticket at Fox Point Farm will include: Photo Booth, live music from the 60’s and 70’s, lawn games, farm to table apps and dinner!
