Where does your donation go?

Your donation goes directly back to your kids, by funding the Art teacher salary, PE teacher salary, plus salaries and supplies for 3 intervention and support teachers. That amazing Specials Program costs $150,000 per year. If we can raise funds beyond that, we can also support other educational opportunities AND the social/community events AOE is known for. This all equates to the PTA spending about $460 per child, per year. 

Fundraising at AOE has declined over the last few years, while the cost of everything has increased. We need everyone's help to keep offering these programs! Thank you for giving what you can.

Around the World in One Day at AOE

AOE is thrilled to announce Around the World in One Day at AOE, happening Friday, December 11, 2026! 

Our goal is to celebrate the many cultures and traditions that make our AOE community so special and create an experience where every child and family feels represented and included. Through food, music, art, clothing, traditions, stories, and more, each contribution will help bring cultures from around the world to life for our students.

We’re looking for family volunteers to help make our Multicultural Fair a vibrant and memorable experience! There are several ways to get involved:

• Host a booth to showcase your culture – click here to sign-up.

• Lend a hand the day of the event – sign up here for a shift or two.

We hope you’ll join us as we celebrate the incredible diversity of our AOE community and take our students Around the World in One Day!

Copa de Carlsbad Soccer Tournament

Attention 5th graders! 

Tryouts for the 2026 Copa de Carlsbad AOE boy & girl soccer teams is Friday, October 2, 2:45-3:45 pm!

Meet at Aviara Oaks Elementary playground field after school, and don’t forget a water bottle, cleats, shin guards and soccer ball.

Our teams will compete in the 2026 Copa de Carlsbad Soccer Tournament, scheduled for Thursday, November 19! The event allows the 9 Carlsbad Elementary schools in the district to compete in an action-packed, one day tournament.

You need to be an active member in order to attend the meeting on Wednesday (or any other meeting until the dues are paid). THIS IS SUPER IMPORTANT!  Here is the link to join.
