Restaurant Night
SHOE DRIVE
Our AOE 5th grade student council is hosting a gently used shoe drive this Friday, May 10, at morning drop off. Look out for them in the Big U!
Donations will go to the non-profit organization Shoes to the World and will be distributed to Oceanside schools in need.

5th Grade Promotion
5th grade families! Please be sure to mark your calendars for the following 5th Grade Promotion Week Activities:
- Monday, June 3: Alga Norte Pool Day
- Tuesday, June 4: Rehearsal, Treat and Slideshow
- Wednesday, June 5: 5th Grade Promotion, 9am, AOMS Auditorium
- Thursday, June 6: Field Day/ Last Day of School
Please note, yard signs and swag bags for each 5th grade student will be delivered on Sunday, May 19. Promotion Day seating reservations will be released on Tuesday, May 21 at 9am. Please look out for the link here, and note that it will go live at exactly 9am on this day. The deadline to submit reservations is Friday, May 31 at noon. Tickets will come home with students on Tuesday, June 4.
In order to serve each family equitably, we will have two sections of seating: reserved and non-reserved. In the reserved section, each family will receive four seats per student and the non-reserved section will allow for additional family and friends to enjoy the ceremony.

2024/2025 PTA Needs You
Your PTA is looking for a new videographer to film and compile our PTA video for next year's Back to School Night. This is also the video featured on our PTA website. If you enjoy filming and basic video editing, you could be perfect for the job.
This position is voluntary, and could be a fabulous way to potentially advertise a business! If you're interested, please email vpfundraising@aoepta.org
