Where does your donation go?
Directly back to your kids, by funding the Art teacher salary, PE teacher salary, plus salaries and supplies for 3 intervention and support teachers. That amazing Specials Program costs $150,000 per year. If we can raise funds beyond that, we can also support other educational opportunities AND the social/community events AOE is known for. This all equates to the PTA spending about $460 per child, per year.
We need everyone's help to keep offering these programs! Fundraising at AOE has declined over the last few years, while the cost of everything has increased. Thank you for giving what you can.
October Challenge
We're almost halfway to our Fall Fundraising goal of $50,000 with 1 month to go! We need everyone's help!! When we reach 75% of our goal, the entire school will earn MEGA RECESS! And when we reach 100%, Principal Yamasaki will move her office to the ROOF of the school for a day! Let's get her to the ROOF!
