Parent night out

 

Our 2024 Parent Night Out is Friday, May 3, at The Crossings at Carlsbad. Enjoy dinner, dancing, auction and 90's dressed contest!

Yearbook

As a reminder, you MUST pre-order your yearbook before Wednesday, May 1. Limited copies will be sold in the office on the last day of school for $35.

Science Day

 

Save the date for Science Day-- Wednesday, April 24! 

 

Science Day is all science, all day, for all students! Each classroom will be transformed into a lab room and students will spend the day rotating through different hands-on, STEM based activities.

 

We need A LOT of parent volunteers for Science Day. Please sign  up for a shift with the link below!

VOLUNTEER AT SCIENCE DAY

Mother son Event

   

 

Join us at Aviara Oaks Elementary's annual Mother and Son Event on Sunday, April 28, in the spacious U parking lot!

 

This year, we're hosting a thrilling cornhole tournament where one mother and son team from every grade can emerge victorious! Get ready for carnival games, lively music, food and snacks. Don't forget to brainstorm a creative team name and coordinate your outfits!

 

Register your team online with the link below and be sure to check the schedule for your tournament start time. Arrive 30 minutes early to check in and enjoy some carnival games!

 

Tickets are now available for purchase! $40 for each mother and son team, and $10 per additional child. Questions? Contact Mel Montoya at melcmontoya@gmail.com

 

Please kindly note: While the event is designed around "Mother & Son" advertising, all sons are welcomed to invite any adult chaperone of their choosing. We respect all family structures, and we thank those parents that must miss special occasions due to deployments in military service to our country.

Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week

Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week is Monday, April 29- Friday, May 3! 

The goal of the week is to honor and reward our teachers and staff (including specialty teachers, librarian, admin and additional staff!) through the kind gestures of their students. To create consistency between the classrooms and giving opportunities we have provided a themed template for the week. See below!

2024/2025 PTA Needs You

Your PTA is looking for a new videographer to film and compile our PTA video for next year's Back to School Night. This is also the video featured on our PTA website. If you enjoy filming and basic video editing, you could be perfect for the job.

This position is voluntary, and could be a fabulous way to potentially advertise a business! If you're interested, please email vpfundraising@aoepta.org for more information.
